Polymer Composite Modification
According to TMT’s customer requirements, through physical or chemical modification of rubber, plastic, and nylon, TMT has the ability to carry out “regeneration and cutting” to change polymer material properties.
For example, by modifying natural rubber and butadiene rubber blends; abrasion and low temperature resistance will be improved while at the same time expanding the scope of application. Varieties of elastic components manufactured in this manner are widely used in applications for automobiles, bridges, buildings and rail transit.
System Structure Simulation
Currently TMT’s system and structure simulation technology capabilities include products in the fields of railway vehicles, rail line engineering, automobile, engineering machinery, building/bridge bearings and wind power industries.
TMT is able to achieve structure simulation efficiency through its large team of engineers and ability to multitask the workload in different places at the same time. TMT utilizes ABAQUS, HyperWorks and FeSafe software. Analytically, TMT has the ability to solve problems from a total of two million nonlinear materials.
TMT has the capability to research products loading ability and property parameters, including structure design, strength and fatigue life calculation, to improve the reliability of products. TMT has the capability to analyze products from single components to full system unit analysis.
Vibration Analysis and Control
TMT has the ability to collect data and analyze vibration, stress/ strain, force and various other physical properties. Capabilities also include amplitude domain statistics, time domain analysis, frequency spectrum analysis, modal analysis, damping analysis and order analysis. Tests to evaluate vibration intensity and vibration comfort for the human body can also be analyzed.
TMT has a technical analysis platform for NVH product design. The platform includes property evaluation, engineering vibration control and structural dynamic property research and optimization.
TMT has adopted the use of finite element analysis software ABAQUS, ANSYS, NASTRAN and HyperWorks for structural modal.
Noise Analysis and Control
TMT has the ability to carry out noise source characteristic, localization and transfer path analysis. Other capabilities include structure and acoustic simulation to research a mechanism’s noise source. Noise control strategy effects can be forecasted, analyzed and optimized. TMT has the ability to test acoustic materials’ sound absorption, insulation and damping characteristics.
Process Capabilities
TMT has mold flow analysis capability, equipment structure and operation control analysis and superb design capabilities. TMT can carry out high tonnage injection molding design. Through operation of a servo manipulator, TMT utilizes double mold and cold flow process technology to allow for metal parts and components to automatically fit in and out of the mold allowing for improved production efficiency and reduced manual labor requirement. TMT possesses innovative molding technology. The company has developed a framework for automatic mold ejection and HALF automatic molding structures. New single mold structures and automatic integration technologies have also been developed.
Inspection and Test Capabilities
TMT has inspection and testing qualifications CNAS and CMA. TMT is the contracted Laboratory for CECC of the Ministry of Railroads. TMT is the recommended laboratory in Asia for AFNOR.
It is Hunan’s quality monitoring and inspecting laboratory for rail transit and polymer material products. It is the Contracted Laboratory of Hunan administrative bureau for industry and commerce. TMT has inspection abilities reaching as far as nonmetallic material analysis, metal material analysis and product performance testing.
Polymer Synthesis
TMT has the ability to synthesis polymer materials including aramid fiber resin, environmentally friendly porous polymer membrane, high-performance polyurethane materials, high-performance polyimide film materials, high-performance nylon materials, silicon materials and high temperature epoxy electrical insulating materials.
TMT’s synthesis capabilities include free radical polymerization, condensation polymerization, addition polymerization and ring-opening polymerization.
